Marsha Ruins Everything

Marsha Ruins Everything is an in-development 2024 video game created by Team Eeveesauce for The Official Testemia RPG Maker MV Game Jam 2024, although it did not qualify for the game jam due to not being finished on time.
The game consists of multiple episodes which will be released over time. The first episode will probably release sometime during the first half of 2024, while subsequent chapters will be released at an unknown time.
Story
Chapter 1
Marsha transfers to a new school after a series of unfortunate events forces her to move schools, but shows up late on her very first day. When she finally arrives to class, it is too crowded for her to sit anywhere, so she is forced to stand up for the rest of the class.
Later, during cooking class, Marsha uses magic to make some cupcakes which she is proud of, but her teacher is upset about the cupcakes' quality, so Marsha runs away from class out of embarrassment and frustration, leaving most of her cupcakes behind. Kremepuff follows her out and has an emotional conversation which results in the both of them becoming friends.
Suddenly, the two of them are summoned to the front of the school over the loudspeaker for an unknown reason. and then something happens idk i'll add it in later. After the ordeal is sorted, Marsha and Kremepuff are sent home early.
But Marsha doesn't realize the extent of her cooking failure until she gets a phone call after giving a cupcake to her little sister. The student on the other side of the phone explains that the cupcakes have been turning anyone who consumes them into a demon - a shadowy-fiery creature known for their dark robes and evil attitudes.
Marsha is split between rushing back to school to contain the situation, or staying with her sister in what could possibly be her last human moments.
